Lance had the day off so what else is there to do, but play baseball. He called all the kids he coaches or had coached. The boys all showed up and were so excited to play ball!!! I bought Costco pizza and fed them lunch. Lance has coached baseball and soccer for five years. The boys love Coach Lance!!!

Little Miss Hailey

Hailey has had a couple of exciting past few days. On Friday she had her ears pierced. She has been asking for a while but was a little hesitant. We were at the mall and she said she was ready to do it. So we picked up Kiely from the dentist and went to Claire's. Hailey was so excited to pick her earrings. She picked tiny pink flowers. Hailey cried a little but recovered quickly after she looked in the mirror. Another exciting event was, that today I registered her for kindergarten. This was more exciting for her then me. I filled out all her paper work and the secretary said, are you ready for this, your last one in school? I thought how many years I have been waiting for this and all of the sudden I was so sad. Im not ready to have all my kids gone at school. Ready or not, here it comes! Im so grateful for the oppurtunity I have had to stay home and raise my children!

Snow Day

A couple weeks ago we let the kids miss school and Lance had the day off. We decided to not waste it and took the kids up to the snow for the day. They had a great time. The boys tried snowboarding and Hailey tried to ski. Kiely said she did not want to risk injury because of her upcoming auditions (always a ballerina first). She still enjoyed playing in the snow and throwing snowballs at her father. We are so lucky to live so close to the snow but not have to live in it!

Who are these people?????

I tried to find a flattering picture but was not successful. Lance took the boys for their first hunting outing the other day. I was not very excited. Being a mom I was concerned about safety and my dog. I warned Lance that Mandy better come home in one piece. The boys were so excited because they had just passed their hunter safety course. Lance and the boys read the material for weeks and then took the test. Lance had also been working with Mandy in our back field with a fake duck. She was a natural. I cooked the pheasant the following Sunday. Im glad we did not invite anyone over to taste it. It was not very tasty, it tasted like tuna. I guess you have to be a boy to get excited about hunting. The boys had a great time hunting and the girls had a fabulous day of shopping!!!
